 This term our topic is Africa.

Our English work will based around 'Handa's Surprise'

In History, we will be learning about the life of Mary Seacole as a significant person. As part of our place study we will look at Kenya in Africa and compare the daily life there with the daily life of a child in the UK.

In ICT, we will be using Purple Mash to write an interactive, animated story about an African animal.  We will also be learning about pitch in Music and looking at where fruit comes from and how it grows as part of making fruit kebabs.

Our art topic this half term will see us looking at colour mixing as we study the work of the artist Henri Rousseau. In RE we will focus on the events of the Easter story and how Christians celebrate Easter.
