Journeys

This term our topic is 'Journeys'.

In Science, the Y2 children will continue to be learning about Plants.  The children will explore conditions for growth and observe how plants grow over a period of time.

In History, the children will learn the about how aircraft and flights have changed over time and the life and achievements of Amelia Earhart.  As part of out place study, the children will learn about the seaside town of Cleethorpes and compare its physical and human features with the local town of Retford.

ln DT, the children will make a moving vehicle and in Art they will investigate texture and combine different methods to create a sunflower.

In ICT, the children will develop knowledge of coding and learn how to debug programs.
